I got my BFA in Metals & Jewelry from Cal State Long Beach in 2009 and currently work from my home studio in Westminster, CA where I make neat things and teach one-on-one jewelry making workshops. I love teaching and experimenting with different ideas and techniques, especially when it comes to enameling and casting. When I'm not smithing, I'm herding the feral cats of the neighborhood. We have 8 and counting.
I have been on the MASSC board since 2014, starting as the Fundraising Chair then moving on to become the Vice President and Program Chair from 2016 to 2018. I stayed on as a Member At Large and became the Newsletter Editor and when Covid hit I stepped back in as acting Program Chair to help Angelina keep our programming going online. I am now very excited to be stepping up as President of MASSC for the 2022-2024 term!
