I got my Hydraulic Press like 8 years ago, and I don't feel like I've ever had an opportunity to really play with it properly. So in this well-spring of spare creativity time I sat down and I designed a bunch of dies for it, had them lasercut and I've been playing around with those shapes ... I've gotta admit... I'm having a ball!
So i thought this would be a really fun online workshop to hold for MASSC.
Everybody who takes this workshop NEEDS to own or have direct access to a hydraulic press. I know that this technique also works with a vise, but that it a different workshop we are planning, so to simplify the videos for the library, we are making those TWO DISTINCT workshops.
The Hydraulic Press Workshop will take place on June 20th From Noon-6:00 PM
Workshop registration is $60 and includes shipping a kit to you with some copper/brass metal for you to press as well as your choice of a few dies that I have designed, and some textures to roller print. No other tools will be provided.
