Improve your skills in this fun 2 day class. Add interest to your jewelry designs with surface texture, volume, and layers. Emphasis is placed on planning and finishing techniques in order to achieve a more professional look. You will learn easy soldering and riveting tips, how to incorporate found materials or beads, and how to create a rich surface on copper and silver. This class is perfect for preparing to take the Drawing on Metal class happening the following week in Long Beach (see calendar). All levels welcome.
This workshop is for Members Only and will be filled via the MASSC lottery system.

Originally from Rockford, Illinois, Deb Karash now lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Her studio is located in the beautiful and popular city of Asheville. A full time studio jeweler, Deb sells her work at fine craft shows and galleries across the country and teaches workshops around the world and in her studio. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University. When not working she and her partner, David, love to travel, hike, and work on their home.
